ITALIAN PAV BHAJI

Ingredients :

For the sauce:
1. Olive oil- 1 tbsp
2. Onion -1
3. Garlic – 7-8 pellets
4. Jalepano – 4-5
5. Blanched tomato puree- ½ cup
6. Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
7. Ketchup- 4 tbsp
8. Italian seasoning – 1 tsp

For the gravy:

  1. Olive oil – 2 tbsp
  2. Brinjal – 1
  3. Zucchini- 1
  4. Bell peppers (red & green) – 1/2 cup
  5. Sweet corn boiled- 2-3 tbsp
  6. White sauce – ¼ cup
  7. Black olives -4-5
  8. Basil leaves – few
  9. Bread bun / Garlic Bread – 3-4

METHOD:
Firstly, chop the onions, garlic, jalepano finely and sauté it in oil for a minute ,then add the tomato puree & cook it for 2-3 minutes. Finally , add the chilli powder, ketchup & the Italian seasoning & mix well. The sauce is ready.
Secondly, take olive oil in a pan, and add the brinjal , zucchini, bell peppers, sauté well till the veggies get cooked. Then add the sweet corn . Then add the above prepared sauce to it. Add the white sauce and water according to the consistency of the vegetables. Cook the bhaji well. Finally add the basil leaves & the olives as garnishing and serve the vegetable with bun / bread.

NUTRITION
This is a very innovative low calorie recipe. It takes only 15 minutes for cooking .When you want to prepare something delicious for a party or special occasion then Italian Pav bhaji is a good option for you.
