Most of you have heard of the famous Dabeli of Kutch. This Kadak is another tasty, yummy, spicy dish from Kutch will surely leave you licking the plate.

1. Oil- 4 tbsp
2. Dabeli kutchi masala-1 ½ tsp
3. Tomato puree – 1 cup
4. Dry coconut scrapped- ½ cup
5. Potatoes/sweet potatoes boiled- 2
6. Salt – to taste
7. Kutchi garam masala – 1 tsp
8. Red chilli powder- ½ tsp
9. Turmeric powder- pinch
10. Coriander cumin powder-1 tsp
11. Tamarind sauce- 4 tbsp
12. Garlic pieces- 1 tsp
13. Water –2 cups
14. Toasted buns –2-3

Take a kadai, add oil, when it gets heated,add the dabeli masala and sauté for a minute ,then add the tomato puree sauté for another 2 minutes . Then add the finely chopped boiled potatoes, sauté and blend well with the masala. Then add all the dry masalas, salt, garam masala, chilli powder, cumin coriander powder,mix and blend well with the gravy. Then add the finely chopped garlic and tamarind sauce and 2 cups water. Close lid and cook for another 2-3 minutes till all masalas blend with each other properly. The gravy is ready.

Take the toasted buns/bread pieces in a serving plate . Place the pieces unevenly and then pour the above ragado/gravy over it. Top it with 1 tsp tamarind chutney, garlic chutney, masala peanuts, finely chopped onions, pomegranate/chopped tomatoes and sev. Garnirsh it with coriander leaves and a lemon ring at the side of the plate.
